Break a Leg

It’s finally here!! After 4 mths of practices every week. Scrooge is this weekend!!! I love the colorful hand designed sets created 12 years ago, the smell of hair spray in the dressing room, the feeling of looking like a porcelain doll with an inch of stage makeup on my face,  and hearing the applause of a live audience. This is the magic of theater. This is my 6th year performing in Scrooge as a towns person. If you are unfamiliar with the story of Scrooge it was written my Charles Dickens as the Christmas Carol about a mean man who didn’t know the meaning of Christmas but after being visited by three spirits learned the error of his ways and became a changed man. The show we put on is a musical and it’s a free show b/c we take a love offering for the blue ridge women’s center at the end of the show, on december 2nd, and 3rd at 7:30 and saturday the 4th at 1 and 6. When you come make sure you get there early for a parking spot.
