Scrooge 13yrs in the Making

Roanoke’s tradition of The Christmas Carol has made it’s way into the heart of many families in roanoke. For many they have made it a tradition to go see New Century Church’s rendition of the broadway style musical. The actors are primarily members of the church or members of the community. The sets were built by hand in a warehouse the first year as were the costumes although additions were added over the years. Scrooge has come a long way since the first year. God has blessed the performance each year and allowed us to give the donations we receive from the performance to the Blue ridge womens center or years past the rescue Mission. I look forward to this week to  see what God does through these performances.
