A Life Worth Living

What would it take for you to say “my life is pointless and I would be better off dead”? My best friend has a friend who’s aunt who has been diagnosed with ALS and it has taken such a toll on her mentally and physically i’m sure that she figures it would be less of a burden on her family and friends to take care of her if she was euthanized. ALS is a degenerative nerve disease where the nerves stop sending impulses to the muscles. There is no cure for it but there are medications that slow the ALS. It eventually gets to the point where the person can’t breathe so I assume that rather than watch her muscles slowly deteriorate she’d rather travel to switzerland and have the euthanizing procedure done.

I personally don’t believe in euthanizing and God still has a plan for this woman’s life. He wants to use her story to change people’s lives.
